Today’s Wednesday Wisdom subject was Famous Marketing Campaigns. Within my role as a Sales and Marketing Executive I often feel that the team think I am getting carried away when coming up with video topics or creative ads so I wanted to take them through some famous examples of strong marketing campaigns for everyone to see the impact that they can have.
I took the team through the Snoop Dog x Just Eat campaign and explained how the Marketing Director thought it was a crazy idea when he heard it, but this 15 second video had a drastic impact on their sales.
We also went through the Greggs’ launch of their Vegan Sausage Roll, and how the impact of Piers Morgan and a quick-witted social media team at Greggs led the campaign to have the number 1 trending spot on Twitter the day of launch. We also touched on Kim Kardashian’s latest Met Gala look and how her brand is her body, as not a single feature of hers was on show yet the world immediately knew this was Kim.
