To make sure each live site is fulfilling the clients original brief, our product tester run through a range of bespoke tests on each site every month. These tests consist of anything from a complete run through, to making sure specific pages are loading correctly.
To make this process more efficient and user friendly we have been trialling a new testing platform from Virtuoso. Virtuoso will enable us to create automated test scripts that we can use across al of our platforms. The platform allows account managers, product testers and project managers to create goals with specific journeys to process each test. Each journey can be set to run across the range of browsers and devices we support making sure each site is accessible.
Thorough testing is one of the most time consuming, yet vital, parts of the development process and this platform will significantly improve the process and ensure that our platforms are consistently tested for stability, accuracy and availability.
