The International Loyalty Awards

I am excited to announce that Stream will be sponsoring the Best Eco-Loyalty Initiative Award at the International Loyalty Awards in June 2022. We have been involved with the Loyalty Magazine Awards (who have just rebranded this year to the International Loyalty Awards) since 2015 and are thrilled to be presenting an award alongside Mastercard and other prime sponsors. We already have our eye on a couple of categories for award submissions on behalf of our clients.

Why an Eco-Loyalty Award?

Climate change and environmental is becoming a top priority for consumers. They are far more savvy than ever before and are now beginning to base their buying decisions on sustainability and a brand’s dedication to the environmental and social impact it creates. Initiatives such as plastic-free packaging, carbon off-setting and a brand’s demonstrable commitment to caring for - and environmentally improving - the world in which we live, can trigger enormous emotional responses. Our prediction for 2022, and beyond, is that the rising demand from consumers for sustainability will mean that sustainable loyalty will not only be required, but expected. Loyalty will in fact drive a brand’s commitment to sustainability, ensuring that all stakeholders are invested and onboard with their eco-journey. We cannot wait to see what market-leading innovations are out there for Eco-loyalty and we look forward to presenting the winner with their prestigious award in June 2022..

B2B Marketing Expo 

It was great to see a number of our clients and contacts at the B2B Marketing Expo at the end of November – it was slightly odd being back out there ‘in-person’, but we loved talking loyalty with so many people. For those who were not able to join – and who are still interested in Mark’s talk on The Psychology of Loyalty – then you can grab a copy of it here. We’ve actually had a number of requests to run the session for other groups and audiences, so if this is something that you would like us to do for your team, then do let us know and we would be happy to arrange a session (either virtually or in person) in the New Year.

 

 

A Fond Farewell 

Unfortunately, with Covid rearing its ugly head again, we took the tough decision to postpone many of our plans throughout December. It is also with a sad heart that we bid a fond farewell to Taylor, who is off to tackle a new adventure in 2022. Like many of our clients, we will miss Taylor’s bubbly personality; she has helped shape much of our RewardStream offering and kept us entertained with her social posts. I am sure you will join us in wishing Taylor all the best in her next adventure; she will be sorely missed.

We are seeing the usual spike in reward redemptions across our programmes as members start to reap the benefits of their rewards. Could you capitalise further on the increased engagement that always happens at this time of year?

With Black Friday coming up in a few weeks there is still time to introduce a promotion that could encourage sales or engagement. Talk to us if you would like any extra help implementing something on your programme.
