A Busy Start to The Year
It was a busy start to the year at Stream HQ (and satellite WFH locations!) last month, for which we were thankful. With the grey skies and consistent mud and rain, January seemed to be as long as a normal year but we’ve got through and emerged with some exciting news to share with you this month.
Firstly, we’d like to welcome two great new clients, Hideaway Cinema and Watco, who will be onboarding with us over the coming few months. Hideaway Cinema are rising a little like a phoenix from the ashes, an event company that has rapidly adapted to deliver excellence in the face of Covid-19 restrictions. We are incredibly excited to be joining then on their journey, which will see the integration of Universe ticketing services (Ticketmaster) with our LoyaltyStream platform and developing a unique look at loyalty in a consumer events world.
The team are also thrilled to be working with Watco, using our exclusive Loyalty Unplugged programme to pilot two loyalty metrics focusing on basket growth and brand-stretch. The pilot will provide a number of evidence-based learnings in order to demonstrate that loyalty can be used as an integral business tool to aid both customer acquisition (win) and customer retention (keep).
As part of our ISO accreditation, we are always evaluating our processes and looking at how we can improve our service for new and existing customers. 2021 will see the launch of our new ‘onboarding’ process, focusing on setting expectations and building strong relationships from the outset.
Last month we saw a number of client campaigns come to a close. The Christmas period often sees a flurry of seasonal campaigns and this year was no different. One campaign promoted 150 customers to VIP status and awarded an additional 13 customers a massive 360,000 points overall as part of the prize draw – what a great way for those customers to kick start 2021 and motivate them in engaging further with the programme this year. We also had a big payout on Love2Shop vouchers for another campaign, and this month we have 2 new countries launching on one of our Loyalty Stream enterprise solutions.
We rounded up the month welcoming a new member to the Stream family. Sunny Wong takes a virtual seat alongside Jo and the development team and brings with him a wealth of experience.
Laura is back from maternity leave in March and will be with us 3 days a week for the next couple of months. She is going to be back making sure that we are all on top of our client projects and delivering customer satisfaction so I am sure you will all be hearing from her over the coming months.
The diary has been and continues to be full of planning and strategy meetings, with some really exciting developments coming your way soon (Luke’s loyalty app is looking great but don’t tell anyone I told you yet!).
